Note from Filmmaker
The journey of making this film started during the 2005 parliamentary elections of Lebanon and covered the 2009 elections. No other parliamentary elections took place in Lebanon until the upcoming round in Spring of 2018.
After a long post production process of finding the story structure and working with a creative team, the piece finally came to life.
Screenings took Madame Parliamentary to Afghanistan, Chicago, Orlando, Brussels, Paris, Beirut, the U.S. Library of Congress in Washington, DC and many locations around the Washington, DC area, Maryland and Virginia.
I hope you enjoy watching this piece and share your comments or help organize a screening in your community. Thank you all for supporting this project.
